After my great dissapointment at the delay of a p800 on O-2 (and the fact that it is probably too much of a PDA for my needs). I am considering an upgrade to the 3650 as this seems to be a reasonable compromise, but considering all the call centre staff are complete muppets and have very little technical knowledge I thought I would ask the experts :) a couple of questions:

1) Blue LED - I want to make sure that I get this colour back lighting not the white back lighting. So is it the case that, for example, all silver coloured covers have blue backlighting, or is it just pot-luck?

wel on UK t-mobile they hav silver ones with blue lights....if tht helps althogh i knw u were after 02 so maybe not....

I think 3650 made in finland all have blue Leds. The first one I got was made in China and the keypad backlight was white. I changed it and fortunately, I got a 3650 made in Finland and the backlight was blue.

is it ACTAULY MADE IN FINLAND or being sold and distributed there now?

Yes. It actually made in finland AND distributed here in the phils.

All my friends that got theirs the chinese flashed thing had white lights. Why would you want blue lighting though :S

'cos white light back lighting on white keys renders the whole back lighting thing pointless!!!!!! :D

i think there is a post which mention using blue whiteboard marker to color the interior of keypad. it works fine. do not use permanent marker, use only whiteboard marker so that u can later change color if you decide to change to other color.

im in malaysia..... alll the original 3650 comes with blue lights.. :)
