Hi there all, I've already set this up in the multimedia forum but its a bit slow there so I'll add it here too...
Trying to get people to suggest good software for encoding video to .rm and .mp4 format. If people could list what they've tried and liked and any of their features that stand out. We should build up a good list of encoding software for people to try, saving all those desperate posts by people asking what software they can use etc.
I'll start the ball rolling.....
.mp4 encoding- pvauthor. Small and fast with good settings to allow you to set thge max bandwidth to use for the video. However the resize isnt too great- it will only allow the built in screen sizes to be used and will distort anything widescreen to fill the screen.
.rm- Real Producer. Only used once. Its ok I guess but not too many features. I'dd be glad for any better suggestions.
