I cannot get Real Media 9.0 files to play on my phone. Real Media 9.0 are the only type of RM files you can create using Helix Producer Basic (the free version). To have the ability to encode Real Media 8.0 files you need to buy Helix Producer Plus. This is more than US$190.00. Very expensive. There does not seem to be any possibility to get Real Producer 8.0 anymore. Any ideas?
I am having the same problem. This is a bad situation. Does 3650 only support Real Media 8.0? What are some other alternatives or options if a person wants to encode videos (let's say videos that are originally MPEG videos) and wants to play them on the 3650. What are the least expensive ways to do this. This would be very helpful if some Forum Regulars had some good ideas.

Now I am really confused. The sitcky posted by Frenchie746 talks about Real Producer 9.0 settings. I followed those settings to copy/encode a MPEG video using Helix Producer Basic. (The free version). I then sent it to my phone via MMC. It is a 1.0mb file. It does not play. I assume this is because Helix Producer Basic only allows you to do Real Media 9.0 files. If you try to change the settings to Real Media 8.0 (as suggested in Frenchie's Sticky Post) you cannot without upgrading to Helix Producer Plus. This sucks. I want to use an earlier version of a Real Media file 9not a new version) and I have to spend a lot of money to do so. What can I do----besides reach into my pocket and spend a lot of money on something that I don't think I will be using that often to make it worth it.
Perhaps someone with Real Producer 8.0 (the older version of Helix Basic and Plus) can upload it so those of us in need of it can get it as Real Networks does not have a link to it anymore since it has been replaced by Helix. I have done a fairly extensive search and Real Producer 8.0 is just not out there anymore.
I have Real Producer 8 Basic but nowhere to upload to.
