My phone faded out and reset itself on 2 occasions, once whilst browsing contacts and the other whilst doing a bluetooth search. It's never done that before!

hm,maybe you installed something wrong like Wildskinz,CRACKED Smart launcher or other cracked prog...

lol i tihnk its the appz that we install tht cause it try to give the phone some time before hackin away at the keypad if it dont respond (not sayin ur doing it but some do lol)

sum apps (no offence to thier makers) tend to mess up ur phone even if its not cracked or anything nokia 7650 apps seem to work fine but sometimes they mess up stuff if u are installing an application made for the 7650 you should install it on the phone not on the mem card ...u will notice that some apps only work if they are installed on the phone mem.

are there ne symbian appz made by sybiam who designed the O/S or nokia which we would class as "offcial"

Anything you get from Nokia's software market should be classed as "official"

Nokia has made nothing expect couple of games and the video recorders.

not even the video recorder is made by them, its made by a company called hantro which you can find on the net.

i made my phone do something similar to that, by filming the same brick wall for ages. since noticing the video recorder doesn't waste file memory recording the same image more than once, i was testing to see how long a clip i could make, and the poor thing had an epi-fit :roll: hehe.

i think video recorder is someinthglike a voice recorder and camera cos i tihnk the last post said sometihng about keeping the camera on on shot seein whether it woud take less space if so then its more like a photograph.....probably doesnt make sence to none of u;s lo cos im finding it hard to explain lolol
