N9210 20-07-2002, 01:37 AM Yes, there is a demo version available called CUTE BLOCKS. Demo available from http://www.avdpro.net/magic101/magic101.htm You will also need to download MSG for 9210 as well. Nosferatu 20-07-2002, 07:38 AM Is there a version of Tetris available for 9210 which doesn't run in Java (can never get working properly)? I have tried this game called CAPSULE SE... its running pretty well on my 9210... and amazing graphics too... More info at http://www.inmarsoftware.com/capsulese_nokia.htm 20-07-2002, 11:17 AM capsule se ain't a real tetris ;) But the cute blocks is, it's fun to play cuteblocks only problem is that you can't put the background sound off, and the demo version only let you play for a small time. whiplash 20-07-2002, 12:43 PM there's a new tetris-like game by Wildpalm -- StackUp. Dazler 20-07-2002, 02:33 PM That's only for 7650 if I recall correctly :) Nosferatu 20-07-2002, 06:07 PM capsule se ain't a real tetris ;) But the cute blocks is, it's fun to play cuteblocks only problem is that you can't put the background sound off, and the demo version only let you play for a small time. Yeah it's sure ain't tetris but... it's as challenging... or perhaps more??? whiplash 21-07-2002, 03:42 PM Dazler -- you're right - that's for 7650. Nosferatu 26-08-2002, 11:06 AM Is there a version of Tetris available for 9210 which doesn't run in Java (can never get working properly)? I have just tried AIS TETRIS... and it's really awesome!!!! This is a must-have colorful game for the fans of classic Tetris... More info at: http://nokia-9210-software.epocware.com/Ais_Tetris.html Nosferatu 26-08-2002, 11:12 AM Ops... sorry... forgot to mention... You can actually purchase it at Handango (http://www.handango.com/brainstore/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?catalog=0&jid=FCACA36D92 E5A27F9BE7E4FX5DCX5CX7&platformId=4&productId=3510 9&productType=2&sectionId=0&siteId=308&zsortParams =true) (affiliate link). SwitchBlade 26-08-2002, 01:18 PM Hmms no offence to them and AIS Tetris does look quite good, but $14.95 for it? That's like £11-£12 and seems a bit steep for a tetris clone, seems a bit crazy when I have dozens of freeware and shareware clones of tetris on various computers in my house, some of which far outstrip the original. What's next $10 for Noughts and Crosses? BTW Capsule SE (though not tetris) is amazing and more worthy of my money in my humble opinion. Ewan 26-08-2002, 01:29 PM I have to say that $10 (aroudn £7) for the version of noughts and crosses I had on the S3a would be worth it. you played in a 4x4x4 cube and had to get four in a row either horiz, vertically, or diagonnaly (corner to corner). It was represented by 4 4x4 grids represneting the top (ont he left) to the bottomo (on the right). It's not out for the 9210 yet, but maybe some enterprising person here might want to give it a go? Should be a doddle in OPL SwitchBlade 26-08-2002, 01:50 PM oooh 3D noughts and crosses, I've not played that since I was knee high to a grasshopper. |
