I have just been in touch with orange mobile phones uk, about upgrading my 9210e to the new 9210i.
I was told point blank that orange have no plans to introduce the 9210i to there uk network, so after seven years with them, it looks like i will be switching networks.
Does anyone else know of any of the other networks in the uk are refusing to stock this product?

Orange are probably the only ones as they only like to take "oranged" products (ie. locked to their spec - which is what the 9210e is)

Certainly agree with Orange wanting to 'spec' the phone. They also (as I seem to recall) have a much more stringent GSM Testing procedure to approve the phone onto their network, hence the usual need for a slight change in the Phone number (9210e for example, and the slight differences in the 62xx series numbering). Yes it does give a more reliable network, but the main drawback (having to wait on new phones) is a bug bear. Pretty suprised they're offering the 7650 straight off the supply truck.
