Thanks to our hero J. Williamson, we now have a MUCH BETTER eye to avi converter! Not only it has a better looking GUI, it offers seamless integration with Windows Explorer! Now you can convert EYE files in-place -- just right-click and choose "Convert to AVI". Better yet, play it directly without conversion! Definitely a masterpiece! I couldn't have done a better job!

*also you should now be able to convert video-only EYE files.
