I tried the safemode (pressing the pencil button while switching on the phone, but to no use: The phone starts up normaly, then "Application phone has quit. Contact dealer."

Any help?

Is this a kind of frequent behavior? I was just traveling, and beeing 10 days without phone...

Not frequent behaviour. Trust what the phone says (take it to the retailer or a service center).
