Hi - my phone has recently stopped vibrating for calls. None of the profiles will and I have it turned on to vibrate for all settings.

I've been installing/uninstalling apps & games - could this have affected it?
is it more likely to be the motor?

will resetting the phone maybe clear it & make it vibrate again?

I have the same problem like you before until i decided to open my phone. Its quite simple, the platelike structure in the motor might not have good connection on your phone, you can stretch it up a little in an upward manner. Works with my phone, and the vibration quality becomes more intense. :black:

If you have installed SmartProfiles, then it's due to that software. It has a bug that the vibrator will not work the moment you use customised ringtone for alarm/alert.

It happened to me once, and I thought maybe SmartProfiles left some trail of their software in the phone even after I uninstalled it. So I reset my phone, but the vibrator still does not work.

Since it's under warranty, I brought back to the service centre and they changed the vibrator motor. Now it doesn't have the metal rattling sound when it vibrates. :)
