Hi - my phone has recently stopped vibrating for calls. None of the profiles will and I have it turned on to vibrate for all settings.

I've been installing/uninstalling apps & games - could this have affected it?
is it more likely to be the motor?

will resetting the phone maybe clear it & make it vibrate again?

Heard that either smart profiles or extended profiles cause this to happen.

Or a strong physical shock [:D]

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT IT SEEMED TO CLEAR ITSELF. MAKE SURE YOUR VIBRATING ALERT IS ON, INCOMING CALL ALERT IS RINGING AND THE VOLUME'S AT MAX FOR ALL PROFILES & THEN TEST IT. IF IT WORKS YOU CAN CHANGE THE SILENT,MEETING & PAGER PROFILES BACK. IF IT DOESN'T THEN THE VIBRATE MOTOR IS PROBABLY BROKEN.

Spent hours on this with my shinning new SX1 :) tried everything!!! like unplugging the mmc/deleting profiles/reinstalling etc....

think I figured this one out.

If the phone is charging... it won't vibrate!
