OK... Here's the idea, I was thinking about a battery cover I had for my old 8210 with a dual sim holder built into it and thought "why not a back cover to hold 2 Multimedia cards" for instance, a game and a card full of MP3's or Videos, then either a hardware switch on the back to swap or even a little software app to do the trick.

I love my phone but this is the only thing that lets it down as far as I'm concerned.

well there is room to store another card in there on top of the other so someone out there must be able to do this !

Dude, its simple, its possible - all U need is a bipositional 7-pin switch - solder the switch "out" to the contacts on the phone, Switch "in-1" to card1 holder,, "in-2" to second card holder. Power the phone down, switch and boot it.
And who knows, maybe the phone cold hot-swap it :)
