The only downloadable theme for the 6600 I've seen:

And while it is pretty nice, I too would like to see some more themes soon. Hopefully Nokia will release a SDK soon to help people make more themes.

Then again it might be that they are trying to sell the theme-making ability to the operators, and making it something you have to pay extra for. Let's hope not.

The clock is the standard analog clock that comes with the 'Climber' theme.

y doesnt some1 post the climber theme here. i tried d/n the file and gave errors repeatedly.

Tried to post it now but it didnt work.

you could also modify the climber theme to personalize it like i did

How did you do it?

move the climber.mbm to your pc then use bmconv.exe. this is the app i used. you have to run it in command prompt. there is an available list of commands included. this will parse the mbm file. the mbm file contains 360 bitmaps. im not even half way through editing them. here's what i have so far.

Two years ago I used bmconv with my old 9210, but today I don´t remember how to use it :(

1. first of all you have to have the climber theme installed in your phone. i don't know how to modify the built in themes since i cannot find where the .mbm file is stored.
2. When you have the climber theme installed go to the drive you installed it (Drive:):\System\Skins\ there should be a folder there containing the climber.mbm.
3. transfer the mbm file to your pc. then parse it using the bmconv.exe. sample code is c:/bmconv /u bitmap1.... bitmap360
4. modify the bitmaps you want to be changed then convert it back to mbm. sample code is bmconv bitmap1...bitmap360
5. transfer it back the directory you installed the theme and there you have it your own modified theme.

i hope this helped you out guys.

Well, how do you know the number and names of the bitmaps? I dont know what have I to put after the /u :confused:
I put "bmconv /u climber" but nothing happens.. :(

now run bmconv and the filename of the saved text file.
example:
c:/bmconv mbmparser.txt
this text file will produce all the bitmaps inside the the climber.mbm

A last question, what have I to write after "bmconv" to convert all bmps in one mbm file??

just remove the /u from the syntax I provided above... i hate to sound rude but there is a complete list of command provided with bmconv, it would really help you a lot if you read it.

Now find images which you wont to chnage and change with your one, after you change all images (icons, etc) you need to creat new climber.mbm and upload to phone.

The comdlg32.ocx is a windows component for common dialog box 32 bit. maybe you should do a search for the exact file name in google & U'll get plenty links to download them. :)

1. When you're finished and change all bmp-s which you want to change, start mbm wizard and browse (into left browser) to the dir where you saved the bmp's. Then press "Select all" and then "Add selected as X"

2. Now right window click select all, go to File -> Save as, and name the file "climber.mbm" for example. You must use the same filename as the theme you downloaded. Or then you can edit the .ini file and change the directory & filename there.

3. Then transfer all those 3 files (.mbm, .ini and .skn) to your phone. You must move them to the right directory, and you can see and/or change that directory in the .ini file like I said above. It's something like "c:\system\skin\xxxxyyyy\". If you want to use your MMC, just change C:\ -> E:\

wizard => file => open, select jesal's mbm file, wait until they will be extracted, all images upper in right window, select images which you wont to extract and click tab "save selected as bmp" under right window.

I run mbm Whizard and open the file climber.mbm -> the result is the message "Not a valid archive"

Whats the problem ?

Someone post me the themes and ill post them on me web page.
