How can I change the reminder alarm type and volume for the calender? The standard is very annoying. I sync my calender with Outlook. The links that I have read haven't been a help so far :(
Other programs seem only to work with calender entries made from the Nokia 3650 and not those brought over from Outlook.

Sorry to post a me too, but this exact problem has been bothering me for ages so I thought I'd add myself to show there's a bit of interest in the issue.

No luck guys. You can only change the calendar and alarm ringtone using a 3rd party software. Try SmartProfiles or Psiloc Extended Profiles Pro.

I prefer Psiloc's because it still let me have the vibrator working. However, the standard irritating and loud calendar ringtone will still come on for a second, followed by the ringtone that you selected.

For SmartProfiles, once you change the calendar/alarm ringtone, you lose the vibrator. It's a bug and had not been fixed for many months. I doubt it will ever be fixed.
