can't be installed on winXP pro...... whaaaaaa....

It works sooo slow (Windows XP Pro) that it is unusable and it produce error when you want to make .sis file.

All work perfect on Win XP Pro...
(may be because my PC Pentium 4HT 2.3ghz.)

BUT!.. the sis file can't be created..

The sis file result in CERO Kb... :( ..

All the interface work fine ..

We hope that a XP version will realeased soon...

Mines just created a sis no problem.
Read here after downloading it didn't, so only made a small change so far before I tried making a sis, but it's worked for me. Haven't put it to phone yet though.

Am using XP PRO, Intel P4 2.8, 1 gig ram, running program in Win2000 mode as stated.

Gonna keep playing around.

how stupid can a company be not to support minimum XP pro these days when releasing SW. Shame on you NOKIA

you need to install java VM supplied with this theme editor and then you can get sis file withous problems...

My first theme using this editor.

First impressions it's very easy to use and the themes seem to run faster, eg while navigating the pages load and close quicker.

One observation, after each change you make click the save button or else when you go to the next part you lose what you did.

But you can create SIS file only from NEW Themes..

You can't create SIS from any EDITED Theme...

it's like a copy protection may be..

See fourth post in this thread! It can be installed on XP.

I'm running XP Pro,..can get through the installation,..but in the end, when clciking INSTALL,..it doesnt start,..at least it doesnt seem to start of the installation ???

The window just stands there,..doing nothing ?? or is it just very very slow on the install part as well ?

Running on a P4 2,66 GHZ machine,...

I just cant see the INSTALL process ??
Its been standing there for some 10-15 minutes,..no changes...

I'am running a P4 with 2,6 Ghz under XP Home. When I install it comes:

The installter cannot run on your configuration. It will now quit.

Whats the problem ???

Read post number 4 in this thread,..you have to set the program compatibility to win2000,..then it can install program.

Once you've unzipped it,..then rightclick program : click properties, and set to win2000.


Mine still just stands there, doing nothing !!

Hi Aefox,

I noticed when you create the theme there is an option to allow copying or not of the sis file, a security feature to stop others di-assembling what you've made maybe?

Another attached for you to try, Britney re-done :p

Has anyone noticed how much better these themes run as apposed to ones created with the italian one?

Have someone made a theme with nokia theme editor? I need some help. Im trying to make a theme and i have started with the background. When i paste in the background its to big. How do i make it fit the box?

At last! The Theme Studio give us the right way to create theme for 6600. It runs fine under Windows XP Home running on Pentium III 1GHz Notebook.

One thing to note here is that you cannot read mbm files directly. It only read Theme package files. All the theme ceated based on Climber or Theme Editor has to be extracted with bmconv.exe manually or using the Theme Editor. Extracting MBM files will be the SOLE purpose of Theme Editor now. You dont even have to buy just use the DEMO to read MBM file and then go to the directory that has the extracted graphics and copy the entire folder. Use the Theme Studio to create a new theme from from scratch based on the graphics extracted. Feel sorry for that Italian guy but he should not thinking of selling it in the first place when the concepts are all wrong(Creating theme based on Climber).

To the author of Theme Editor, I would like to suggest giving it for free. It is not of much used anyway now with the theme studio released for free. Nice try though and I think I should thank you for at least pressured Nokia to release the Theme Studio.

Whenever i try to download the editor it asks me for user name and password and after entering it again show me the same page saying you are not logged in.

is there any direct link to download..?

i am already registered... i've written that after entering the user name and password it again says that you are not logged in even though i have entered them.... i have even tried creating a new account and than again entering the user name and password but it still says that you are not logged in....

The Theme-studio isn't aviable for Windows 95, 98(SE) and ME

It only Supports Windows NT4 mit SP2, Windows 2000 and unofficial Windows XP

To install it under Windows XP, in Windows Explorer, right-click on the installation file and set the compatibility to Windows 2000 and it'll install.
