i was referring more to the Symbian side of life but appreciate the inputs.

Perhaps stock feeds, news, jokes, happenings, etc as a scroller (Times Square, NYC Stock Exchange) type in place of the screensaver...Or better still, on top of the screen right next to the clock above the date area...where u typically have the operators name.
