I have been searching High and Low for a Nokia 9500. I am in Dallas, TX and I have been unable to get one. I also tried Ebay but most auctions appear to be scams or people who have 0 feedback or in some cases someone that has good feedback but have only sold items that are a few dollars and in the feedback area someone recently has complained of fraud or illegal use of account.
Please help me locate this phone as I do not want to wait till Q4 of this year.

There's some research labs in FInland have them.
Nokia haven;t released it yet. If you get offered one, it's a con or stolen. More than likely a con.

The 9500 is not released yet and it most likely will not be released untill Q4 of this year.Even if you do manage to get a prototype it will not be worth it because prototype units don't have the final version of the hardware and software and thier firmware can't be upgraded.
BTW:The sales of prototype units are illegal.Every operator can track prototype units by their IMEI.

I fee your pain... I want one too and can hardly wait. I wonder if I will be able to buy the 850/1800/1900 model for the U.S. direct from Nokia around Sept/Oct or will I have to wait for a provider like AT&T here in the U.S. to sell it with their packaging. I ask because if so... we could be waiting a bit longer since it takes time to brand/package provider branded cells.

No you don't, and you know it. Why are you misleading people?
You may be taking "pre-orders" or selling illegal prototypes, but you most certainly do not have production release 9500's, because there is no such thing yet.

I agree with n/a. But to be honest i think the production will start around august-september latest. They need time for the production.
