I took my 9210 from service upgrade and did a format. All the old programs were in Italian.

I installed alll Nokia data sis into the Memory Card. (16Mb-is allmost full now)

I cannot start WORD.
Application WORD
Reason Code WORD

Reason Number 1

What can I do to start using Word?

Download the word processor from here:
http://www.nokia.com/phones/productsupport/legal.html?file=9210/Word_Processor_v413.sis

and install it again. It should replace the old one. I assume that you are having now version 4.13.

Make sure you formatted both, the nokia and the memorycard.

After a format first install All memorycard data.sis
Then All Nokia data .sis.

It isn't possible that your memorycard is full after the installation of these files!

Now you can install the filevieuwers, download them from the Nokia site.

When you set the font size, make sure that you are going beyond the last character on the last line.

I found this to work, and is also a similar 'issue' with PC Wordprocessors. I don't believe that CTRL + A will do this, but you have to make sure that what may be a CRLF or a 'tag' which the application uses to store the position of the next character has been selected, as if to say that not only do I want the current character to be Font 12 but also the character that will be at the position of the next new character.

Does this make sense? I'll go back to being depressed and suck some more Crusha through this here straw........

I start word and then press; CHR/- or +.
That will do the job in 1 second.

No, I guess this not the point. Try it this way:
- start word processor
- push the style button and the list comes up where "normal" is highlighted
- push edit
- push format
- change font (standard is Univers, size 12pt) smaller, larger whatever
- push 4x done
- close word processor

if you open it up again, the "normal" style is back to standard Univers, size 12pt :(

That is what Dazler and I meant! Test it and please prove us wrong ;)

Hello Upponalle;

I know what he ment and i know the problem.
I asked this on some forum for about a year ago and got no respons at all.
I tried a few things but nothing worked.
So, for the moment I do it this way because (for me) its the fastest way, unless ofcourse you want to change the fonttype, this isnt possible in this way. :(

Thanks René! I think your solution should work for awhile ;) Maybe we still find out what the "real" problem is.

I thought it might have something to do with the default template, just like there's NORMAL.DOT on an ordinary PC. Have been fiddliong around a little but to no avail. Also the CHR/- or + doesn't seem to work with the dutch 4.13 OS version. Would be a nice quickie for most of us though.

Dr_Flash;

It works for me..... and mine is Dutch too...... and 4.13.......
Try again, it should work.
I think youre using the "normal" + and -.
What I ment was the + and - connected to the green "CHR" button, or as you want to call it that way , the < and the > buttons.

Solved my own question:

open a new document
change the font setting to 8 for example
change the style - normal - font also to 8
then use menu -template - save template

I saved the template as "Normal" (was suggested by word) and now every time I open a new word file the settings are set :)))
