The problem with my phone is that when i create a new contact, it saves it into the phone memory and not into the sim card.
Now that ive used it a while, dozens of new numbers have been added to the phone memory and ive forgotten which ones in case i format the phone.
Is there someway to save contacts directly to the sim card next time?

Maybe there is and i don't know. A temporary solution till somebody tells you how to save the contacts to sim, is to backup your phone using Nokia PcSuite

The SIM can only hold single name/number pairs so it is a very limited in what you can put there.

In any case, you can select a number in the Contacts app and save it to the SIM. If your contact has multiple numbers, you have to save them to the SIM separately.

And you have to save the numbers one by one.

hi my friend when you are trying to save it on the sim you must do this:first enter your number and save it after that go to contacts and then go to the your contact you will see his number on the screen after that press options and then go to select copy to sim direct option .after that it will be saved on your sim card.
