Hello everybody.

I've used AvantGo for Nokia 3650 happily for about half a year - then some
time ago, it suddenly stopped working (probably due to some program update
which I wasn't aware of).

So, yesterday I downloaded the latest version (AvantGo version 5.2 build
88 ) and, well - I haven't got it working yet.

I keep getting the "5463: Error while reading from the server" error - at
one point I managed to get it to "Updating device configuration" or
something like that, but after 5-10 secs it ended up giving me the 5463 once
again. So, it seems that I can connect to the server, but when it begins
synchronizing some error occurs. I have tried deleting cookies, etc. on the
AvantGo website (as recommended on some websites), to no avail.

I'm connecting directly to the net via GPRS - no IR or Bluetoothing to mess
up communications..

Could somebody please post a working configuration for the Nokia 3650 (or
7650 or 3660 - I suppose the setup is pretty much the same), as I feel I
have tried tweaking almost anything that could reasonably be expected to be
wrong ;-) Or just give some hints as to what could be the problem?

Is there really NO ONE who's running AvantGo on a 3650??

I'd really like to see a working setup - server settings, etc... Please post, even if you don't have any idea about what's wrong with my 3650.

Already tried it - I got a response too: "We're looking into this" - that was two weeks ago...

Thats sounds like a helpful response... I'm afraid I dont use AvantGo very often and haven't come across this problem. I can only suggest a complete redownload and reregister, but it sound like you may have already tried that.
