View Full Version : Has it been confirmed whether the 'loudspeaker' is Stereo or Mono yet? Arnis 07-09-2004, 01:05 PM I've heard in some places it is stereo and others that it may not be. However www.nokia.com only mentions a stereo headset, NOT loudspeaker...anything concrete yet? Delta737 07-09-2004, 02:42 PM I haven't heard of the fact that the 6630 would have a stereo loudspeaker. As far as I know it only has stereo output over headset, not loudspeaker 0R0___Sd 08-09-2004, 07:10 PM to have stereo loudsepaker it's necesarry to have 2 loudspeakers. all symbians have onley 1 loudspeaker, except sendo-x. Vicky 19-09-2004, 02:03 PM to have stereo loudsepaker it's necesarry to have 2 loudspeakers. all symbians have onley 1 loudspeaker, except sendo-x. p900 and p800 are also symbian but they have stero output just nokia symbian 60 have mono output and if 6630 have got stero output it will really attract people one 1.3 megapixel camer and other WCDMA and EDGE and now Streo Output GhostDog 19-09-2004, 07:11 PM Vicky, they are talking about the loudspeaker.BTW:The N-Gage has stereo output.I really can't imagine having stereo loudspeaker on such small device as a phone. Unregistered11 17-10-2004, 04:01 AM Vicky, they are talking about the loudspeaker.BTW:The N-Gage has stereo output.I really can't imagine having stereo loudspeaker on such small device as a phone. Hey Dude, There's multiple handsets on the market smaller than NGAGE already using 2 loudspeaker. Like your famous words, search the internet (if you're not sure). GhostDog 17-10-2004, 03:18 PM It still is not stereo. Its just two loudspeakers. One of those devices is the Linux Powered Motorola e680.Can you really notice the Stereo effect if the distance between the two speakers is 5cm? N/A 17-10-2004, 06:44 PM I imagine that for a human to detect a stereo effect the speakers would have to be apart at least as much as one's ears are apart from each other. So, a phone would have to be wider than one's head. ;) siewmai 18-10-2004, 06:15 AM I will really go pyshco if the loudspeaker is mono. Delta737 18-10-2004, 07:16 AM Well, go "pyshco" than, because since there is no word about a stereo loudspeaker, it is probably not there! alexandra_v 27-10-2004, 07:54 PM I agree! Nth is mentioned over stereo speaker.......if it was so of course they would promote it...so unfortunately be prepared of another mono speaker.....what a pitty for such an upcoming model :frown: racerace1 27-10-2004, 08:16 PM I agree! Nth is mentioned over stereo speaker.......if it was so of course they would promote it...so unfortunately be prepared of another mono speaker.....what a pitty for such an upcoming model :frown: How is it such a pity? You really don't need a stereo loudspeaker honestly. As long as the mp3's play stereo in your headset its fine. I bet you even hardly use the loudspeaker. I hardly do i use my earphones instead :D N/A 28-10-2004, 06:55 AM And, as I said earlier, for a human to detect the stereo effect, the two speakers would have to be as widely a part or preferrably wider than how your ears sit in your head. That is, even if a small device like the 6630 would have one speaker at the bottom and another at the top, and you held it sideways, it would still not be as wide as or wider than your head (unless you have a very, very unusually shaped head ;) ). alexandra_v 28-10-2004, 12:28 PM Yes i give you full right, if you can get stereo sound through the headphones then loudspeaker sound would be indeed for videos...which would be nice but indead not the end of teh world. |
