As far as I can tell, the main differences are:
6630 = 3G
6670 = "normal" gsm phone + slightly lower resolution camera

Sounds so good, but when I read detailed specification, I feel so disappointed, it is a big step back in compare with 6630, damn phone don't have a thing such a EDGE.

I'm will keep my 6600 until I get 6630....

I'm still trying to figure out between a 6630 or 6670.

Although I'm more inclined to get 6630 because is it a very nice upgrade from my present 6600, all of the things from 6600 has been upgraded such as longer video recording, higher photo resolution etc but the EDGE/WCDMA is not really important to me because this is not yet available in my country.

For 6670, it is almost the same as 7610 but with slight upgrade but would also be a good upgrade to my present phone.

So, I will make my decision when I get to compare them physically when they are already available in my country, plus of course the price will be a deciding factor.

Maybe, but just maybe there's not a so huge benefits between 6670/7610 and 6630, but many even little improvements in complet give a much better phone at all, damn better phone.
A things such a EDGE, 3G, more memory, better procesor, new generation of s60 platform (v2) powered with new version of symbian os (v8) give a preaty faster phone, with better respond in all actions, same as with 3th party soft, better camera, beter video recording application, hotswap MMC and so, so much.

Conclusion

6630 or 6670 or 7610?!
well, every power user will dont have dilemma between choices which phone to buy...

I think IR is old Technology i don't think it is really needed.
In my 6600 I hardly use my IR to use IR Remote
and now 7610 doesn't giving me anything missing.
So In Coming Days i don't think there is need IR

Just kidding, you would be sick if you choose that over the 6630....

I deffently believe 6630 is a way much better phone than 6670. I am also thinking to upgrade my 6600 to 6630. For the moment i am using IR with my 6600 because I tried evth with BT and PC SUITE will just njot recognise it. I hope 6630 will not have such BT problems.

So i think it is very much worthful to get the data cable with the phone and with IR there is not enough things to do. Most people use Bluetooth to transfer Data and using Gprs etc.
So there were two ways to connect(IR, Bluetooth) and there are two ways to connect.(PopPort, Bluetooth)

PopPort and DKU-2 is deffently way better than IR and i am glad 6630 will come out with these two connectivity option because the BT with 660o gave me huge headaches and IR is plain slow and poor connection.

Vicky i did. The bluetooth is operating and connecting via bluetooth with other nokia phones and i can also send jpeg files to my pc without PC Suite. Only PC Suite would not recognise it which prevented me of converting formats. This problem i solved one way or another by connecting through IR. I have no problems at all with PC Suite except of the fact that IR is very slow. Better have it al teats working even slow than not being able to install software!!!

6600 lack mega pixel and mp3.
7610 lack stero output and Edge

This is the only thing that has stopped me from upgrading my 6600. I use IRremote every day. I don't even know where most of my remotes are. :con?

Well 6630 has other connections for pc now about remoting...well i guess you need to find your remotes :)
