ah - i also get the lifeblog work - but only the 0.95 Beta
Schneemann,
Any chance you could post some pictures you have taken with the 6630 and what you think of it? Still along time to wait here in the UK!!
Thanks
alexandra_v 29-10-2004, 09:30 AM Please give us your feedback and as many info as possible over the phone's features!!!
We are still all in standby mode here waiting :)
schneemann 29-10-2004, 03:11 PM sure =)
here (http://www.umtslink.at/3g-forum/showtopic.php?threadid=5277) are some photos (not mine) taken with a 6630 in vienna.
i'll post some photos soon
its the best symbian based nokia i ever had =)
+ the raction-time of the buttons is incredible (in opposite to the 6600 ;) )
+ better quality at video-calls than a NEC616
+ really good picture-quality
+ video-length up to 1 hour
+ less weight
but there are still litte bugs:
- some menues are not translated (eng -> ger)
- i cannot send a mms at the local provider (known bug - maybe the provider fix it on server-side)
- standard-camera: its not possible to take portrait-fotos anymore (for contacts) (like 6600)
hi,
i need an information, the 1.3 mgpixel videocamera is used in videocall?
who videocall you, see what you see?
thanks
Delta737 29-10-2004, 04:34 PM Wow, those pics look marvelous! On par with the Sony Ericsson s700 IMO.
About the videocall: You need a seperate stand for that, it won't work with the internal camera (since it is on the wrong side...)
schneemann 29-10-2004, 04:49 PM videocalling IS working! (but not face-to-face)
yes, the megapixel camera is used ( the opposite only can see the picture from the megapixel-cam )
alexandra_v 30-10-2004, 10:29 AM Guys the quality of the photos posted is super! im speechless! we are deffently waiting for more feedback because i didnt read anth seriously negative and if it is so then that phone will be one of the best releases ever (in my opinion).

i agree with you... guality of pictures is incredable /because they were taken with "only" a phone :D /.but waiting for more and more pictures, infos, and of course the phone itself :D
alexandra_v 02-11-2004, 10:56 AM What about the BT conenction and OC Suite support? DO you get it run easily or are you having problems like most of the users of previous nokia phones? I know there is also a cable that can be used instead of BT but i would like to know how PC Suite reacts this time with BT.
Thank you in advance!
schneemann 02-11-2004, 01:56 PM @BT:
- they removed the bluetooth serial port
- but fixed the bt-connection to the pc-suite (eg. easier than 6600: no more 2nd bt-serial-port is used, ... )
- but there's still a bug in the firmware: when you switch off bt - sometimes the phone reboots
there is also a tool installed at the phone to migrate your old phone-settings and data-files from your old symbian phone to the 6630 (over BT)
alexandra_v 02-11-2004, 02:29 PM Thank you very much for the feedback!
