I'm looking to buy a card reader/writer do i need a special one to take this new card format for the 6630?

Any card reader that takes MMCs will read any RSMMC as long as you have an adaptor (to make the card MMC sized). These come with the phone in the first place or can be bought at a later date.

Some card readers will now take RSMMCs without the need for an adaptor. It'll state this in the card reader's compatability list. I find it useful not to have to mess about with an adaptor.
