can x700 change themes like nokia 6600?

The X700 supports Themes like a 6600 and other "Series 60 2nd Edition" phones.

and which one is better because i han=ve alot of apps for nokia 6600 and idont know if these are going to be combatible :cool:

These will be compatible with all S60 Symbian platformed phones.
I guess I both like them, the sleek design made me choose the Nokia 7610 (I just love it in black).

It's purely a matter of taste, but go to the shop and try both. Maybe the Panasonic has less 'lag' (although minimal on the Nokia).

Normally, the Nokia apps (if S60) work on all Nokia S60 models. Don't know about the X700, but since it's the same OS it should work - I did not research this, so I'm still guessing - .
Get the Nokia, it's cooler :cool:
