iv had nokia 7610 for a couple of weeks n when i got it i transfered contacts from my sim card to phone memory, and when i received a text the name of the contact shows up. so that was all fine. but if i add a new contact, when they send a text it wont show the name - jst the number. i dont understand why it wont show the name of the contact, and its really beginning to confuse me when i get texts! please help!

Most likely, the same number is in the phone in multiple contacts. When that happens, the phone cannot know which is the right name to display, so it only shows the number.

In other words, find the duplicates, remove them and your problem should be solved.

Thats right .. its the only reason for the problem I had in past.
