Hi,

Is it possible to get a Nokia 6630 debranded? Master resets and formats just make the phone like it came out of the 02 box but i want it to be like it came out of a Sim free box. I cant stand all that rubbish that's digitally tattooed on the phone and i want it off permanently as i believe its causing problems.

Simply ask to flash on it a generic version of the Firmware

Thats all? Nice one, Thanks :)

So do network operators have their own tweaked versions of firmware and can it make any difference to the phone? i.e. one with voda branding and one with 02 could they act slightly differently from one another in certain situations? Even though the firmware versions are the same (apart from different branding)
My firmware is:
V 3.45.113
04-01-05
RM-1

and although its apparently the latest i cant wait for another to be released or at least to get it reflashed with the same version but a generic firmware like you say.
