is it possible to apply different themes to 3660?
if so what's a good source?

No themes but smart launcher. Use smart launcher with 3660. It looks not so cute, but It's the only way for it.

Smart launcher Makes your phone terribly slow if you have areasonable number of applications installed and of course hogs a lot of memory if an apps require lot of internal mem to b used.

advantage:
if any application that needs a lot of mem can be run using a technique using smart launcher:

1. launch smart launcher ie make it ON.
2. switch OFF you Phone.
3.connect the charger and switch ON the charger.
4.Now gently press the Power button just enough that the lights turn ON and a standby mode is activated Make sure u don't turn on the phone.
5.u will see that atleast more than 3MB internel mem is free!
5.press the menu key and run the application.!
Suprise!

6.Donot turn off the charging during the running of the app.!
