hello, how yo make to chage the operator logo on the top of the screen, near the clock ????

Q: How do I change my operator logo?

A: If you want to put an image instead of the operator name (in the right corner, between the clock and the battery meter) you need to do the following

- download and install eFileManager, SeleQ or a similar program (Trial Version will work) as you will have to gain access to your C: drive like you would using My Computer on a PC.

- Now, create a folder in the phone under C:\system\Apps.

Firstly create the folder Phone, and in the Phone folder create another folder called Oplogo

you should have this folder created:

C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo

- now you can put inside this folder (with eFileManger or SeleQ) the pictures you want to use as "operator logos"

- Then re-start your phone.

NOTE:
- size of these pics must be 97x25 pixel
- name of pictures must be the ICC ID of the operator, with this syntax:

it's not any big program, brah. i just opened MS Powerpoint, inserted a text box (of course writing my gf's name), copied that, opened Paint (MS APP), set the right image attributes (97X25) and pasted the text box there - and voila!!!

when i set the wallpaper for the phone, do i first have to convert it to what size, (how many pixels wide, pixels high? ) also what diff does it make if it's jpeg or bmp?

JPG and BMP are that same....the wallpaper is converted to mbm anyways! You can delete the original file afterwars and the backgroud will still remain! The size is 174x132

yeah i got SeleQ but how do i do it??

go to seleQ, then press the cancel button so the screen is on the idle ,but dont close the seleQ.
then press and hold the "abc" key, and while u still pressing that key, press the joystick action button, the screen will prompt you to giver anme to the scrennshots, pressyes, and voila , you got ur wonderfull screenshots in your image follder :P

I use the scree capture feature of seleq but find the image file size of close to 100k far too large for a 208x176 image so decrease it to about 20k with photoshop with near no noticable loss of quality.

bro, seleQ is the best way to go about it. make sure the app is running in the background and press abc key and joystick and you will get the screen capture. 8)

Yeah... But I bought eFileManager a lot of months ago, hehehe, now I don´t want to buy SeleQ, hehehe!
I tried ScreenCapture from Psiloc, and I saw that when I made a sshot in jpg mode, the quality of the image was very poor (only 8kb), but if I made a sshot using mbm mode, then the quality was OK (about 44kb). But there is a problem,I can not see mbm files on my computer,I can not upload mbm files here! :x
What I would like is that ScreenCapture can make jpg sshots of high quality...

well for a time, before i purchased seleQ, and my trial had run out, i used scapture. i think it did the trick. important thing is you're able to share with us your awesome screen shot - minus the good quality that it. 8)

go to profiles and select a profile other than genereal. after which select personalize. scroll down to see the option to change the profile name. :D

Hi! Only the standard profile shows the date under the oplogo.. for example, if you change your profile to Silent, it will display the word Silent there... So what you need to do is change the name of one of the profiles in your phone to whatever you want to be shown on the display, and activate that profile... ;) Easy..
