Hello, you may be able to tell my 6680's new to me! :rolleyes: A question about how quick or slow the 6680 should be responding. In particular, I have set the Gallery to the left softkey. It takes 3 to 3.5 seconds for the gallery to load up after pressing the shortcut key. Is this normal? This is my first Symbian/S60 phone, and so if it is normal I wouldn't know.

The left softkey has a delay built-in in case you want to press the '*' key to lock the keypad.

Agree with N/A's explanation, but 3-3.5 sec sounds long. I have message set on left softkey and it open in about 1-1.5 sec. Check your RAM memory by holding in the Menu Key. You should only see the Telephone icon. Select and close any applications running.

Just bought my 6680 as well.
Not so fast, but maybe because of lots of games/applications installed (my 64MB card is full :D )

Have you noticed a bug in lighting system, keyboard and screen light is incostant :icon13:

Can we hope in a quick solution with next firmware? mine is 3.04.11 (april 14-2005)

Some time before I read somewhere that you can change the default delay of the softkeys by editing a system file, do someone know something about that ?
