Wow, I've searched around a lot and can't believe that no one else is asking this.. or blame it on my searching skills..

Anyways.. for all you guys out there... All these 3 new phones don't have an option to send picture messages... (the .ota stuff). If you receive a picture message, you can forward it but u can't do anything with a stored picture message or even store a new one you've got..

Is there any software that allows me to overcome this limitation?

Photosms allowed me to send picture messages in 6600 so i happily bought a 6680 thinking i'll use the same software but now it tells me that the functionality is not supported!

I know it's high time ppl moved on to MMS but it's expensive in our part of the world and not everyone has it.. and picture messages are cute in their own way (just like you sometimes want to apply a special filter to an image and view it in black n white)

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

is this the reason why i can't send a picture taken by my 6630's phone cam to another cellphone, a 6600 in particular?.. this is terrible, i thought there was just something wrong with the settings of my phone or the recipient phone..

It has nothing to do with sending photos (which is done by means of multimedia messages, MMS, or as email attachments).

So, your problem with sending pictures has nothing to do with this. Make sure you have the MMS access point settings from your own operator stored on your phone (menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points) and that the MMS access point is also selected for multimedia message sending (Messaging > Options > Settings > Multimedia message > Access point).
