Hi long time reader, first time poster here!

Ihave recently bought a 6680 on orange in the UK

I am trying to use yftp to connect to my home pc ftp server.

Unfortunately i cant seem to get the phone to connect. :(

I cant seem to find the correct settings on the phone client software to allow me to connect.

I know 100% that the pc ftp is working perfectly, i know that i have the correct login and pass on phone, but it always cant connect and terminates.

Am i missing something ? Is it an orange UK problem? Is there a tutorail or walkthru anywhere? Will i go mad b4 i get this to work ????????

Thanks:)

Do you have Orange's Internet Access Point settings? Are you using that access point with yftp (and not, e.g., a WAP Access Point)? Do you have a plan/subscription that allows full Internet access? Can you connect to some other FTP server or does it fail, too?

No. "fttp://" doesn't mean a thing. And if you are using an FTP-program, then don't use the "ftp://" either (it is only used with browsers).
