Can nokia n70 and n90 default themes be installed in nokia 6630?

Also the MP3 player from the N90 is a hundred times better then the pre-installed Real player!

The great thing about this player is the album art addition - adding a jpg it to the ID3 tag gives you an image in the player window.

Plus, unlike OGG player, it runs the album order according to track listing and not in alphabetical order.

But best of all it overrides the default real player when selecting tracks from a shortcut - surely a bonus to be rid of that clunky thing!

When I saw Nokia announce the 6630 Music edition I thought I'd dipped out on the phone with a decent player by a few months.. but looky here - it's the same player as I now have!

Should be able to.

Tools > Settings > Phone > Standby Mode then pick your Music player and add it to whichever key you want.

No u can't as 6680 use version 2 of Symbian OS while 6630 using version one. unless there's 3rd parties application that can do it.

Both phones are based on Symbian OS version 8.0a and Series 60 version 2.6, also known as "Series 60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 2". The 6680 only has a slightly updated version of Series 60, but essentially they are based on the same software.

The MP3 is cool , but there's one problem .
When someone sms you. u can't hear the sms tone. basically u wouldn't know there's sms coming in.

OggPlay plays albums perfectly, in the right order. If yours doesn't do this, then it's a problem with your files' ID tags. I make my files using CDex.

Thanks. It certainly looks nicer than the original default music player but seeing as it doesn't play any of the 300MB of ogg tunes on my MMC I'll stick with a non Nokia player.

Not too keen on it only installing on the phone mem either.

Thanks AEFOX. I downloaded it and am using it on my N6630 & N6680. Works without a problem.

It's a bit of a hassle that it doesn't allow you to install on MMC. It takes quite a chunk from the Phone Memory.

Someone mentioned that it silences Message Sound. I dont have this problem. all Sounds working fine

it's been removed, it actually killed the Gallery applicationn on my phone, had to hard reset.

For mp3 go get Oggplay, is free and work well.

I bought a theme from handango.com for about US$7 that looks like the new n series devices and includes icons, it works with no problems on my 6680, so it will probably work on your 6630.
