Hi,

This morning I tried to unlock my keypad, but nothing happened. I thought the keys might have been faulty, but the phone responds to all the keys so it must be something else.

I took the battery out to turn the phone off/on but as soon as it turned back on the keypad automatically locked (it didn't used to do that).

Does anyone know what is wrong here?!

I need it fixed fast :frown:

Did the fone ask you to enter a password ?

I am experiencing the same problem too. It started yesterday and restarting the fone does not rectify the problem. I'v even tried to do a hardware reset (green, * & 3 when starting) but it will not reset neither. I can recieve calls as this overides keylock, but cannot do anything else. Is it just a coincidence that we are having these problems or is there a virus we have contracted? ANy thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome as it's only good for the bin at the moment.

I ended up taking my phone to carphonewarehouse to get it fixed.

It was a software fault as I thought, but when I collected my handset they didn't say what was wrong with it.

It cost me £30 to get the phones software reinstalled.... rip off!!

I hadn't accepted any bluetooth files, but I installed a few programs from free websites, so it could have been a virus. It seems like one aswell!

Hope you find a cheaper solution! (it should be free if the handset is still under its waranty)
