i purchased a sanyo mm8300 a month ago i started messing around w/ the web 3wks ago. every other page or so i get a message that my browser is out dated it gives me info on how to aquire a different one but each site says it doesn't support my os or if i get further the msg is insuffient mem restart browser as far as i know i haven't used memory!!!! i know nothing about cell phone technology any help would be great. thaxs in advance!!!!!

The sites probably don't recognize the Sanyo browser, or they detect that it doesn't support technologies in web browsers for PCs, and then they point you to download sites for PC/Windows browsers.

I don't know the Sanyo mm8300, but I do know it is not running the Symbian operating system (with or without Series 80), so it is not likely that you can find a fix here.

I also suspect that there is no updates or new browsers you can install on the Sanyo phone. Have you tried to find a Sanyo customer support/service site or phone number you could call and ask?

In any case, you most likely either have to live with the fact that the Sanyo can't access all web sites, or change to a different phone with a better web browser, if that's important for you.
