my nokia 3230 was stolen but I was able to bakcup the phonebook and messages using Nokia PC Suite. Now I only have a file with NFB extension when I open the file with notepad I can see the phone numbers and also the names of my contacts but it is not usable because it is not in order. Can I convert the NFB file to a CSV or a TXT file? I badly needed my contacts. please help me. thank you.

I don't think you can convert the NFB file but you can do something else. Find a friend who haves a Nokia and make a bakup first on his phone's memory. after this, put your backup on his phone and copy all the contacts to your SIM or write them down on a paper or something. The NFB file it's standard backup for Nokia. My brother did this on his 6670 and the backup was made on his former 6230.

Just sync it with Outlook/Lotus Notes. I've tried it to sync N3230 to N6630. There's no problem :) .

I extracted my nfb file using a python script. Wrote a quick howto for it at http://babarhaq.blogspot.com
