Hi I have quite a few SMS on in my mobiles memory and now i need to get the firmware updated.
I have been told by this guy that ALL the SMS will be deleted in case of firmware update..

Is it possible that i can transfer the SMS from the phone memory to the Memory card .....

Goto Messaging->Options->Settings->Other->Memory in use -- set it to Memory Card..
On doing that it will ask whether u want to copy all messages to ur mmc..Say yes..
This option is available on my 6600..try it out..

I do have a 6600 and ths function works fine on it but the 7610 does not have this option....:mad:
