For those who still ask me:

ebooks are written works (novels, history, si-fi, textbooks, etc) that
can be read using a pocketpc, pc or pda... 92xx, very, very convenient, not to mention much lighter to lug around.

I want to share, but I find myself very bussy untl next year or so.

What would be your choice in e-book reader software for 9210? Given the memory and disk space limits. Carrying dictionaries, grammar, fiction etc everywhere seems like a great idea but perhaps I should first buy a bigger memory card... :o

I have 2 MMC.

One Original one 16Mb, wich I use for fun, games, movies and so on.

The 64 Mb i use it for business applications, mails and so on.

This was my solution for e-books also.

Wonder how i deal with 16 Mb. Truth is that I have also a MMC Card reader, and I just Copy/paste contents and here I go.

But this happends 2,3 times / month :cry: Time issues here ;)

I still use the original 16 MB MMC and that's why I'm cautious about anything using disk space. But then again, if I have 9210, why not use the whole potential, right?
Ok so next time I'm at a computer store, I will grab a card reader and a bigger memory card. I remember reading a thread on AAS about memory cards and card readers, I will have to look them up. There was some discussion about which are compatible and good and cheap and so on.

can it access *.pdb documents\?

what are the supported formats for mobipocket reader?
btw... mobipocket reader for 9210 is free... also for the 7650, but then again battery issues, bcoz of this reader im having problem with my phone's battery... much more with the 7650... dnt be offended 7650 owners, i have a 7650 also, with three batteries... hehehe :D

The extension seems to be .prc but this does not really tell anything, I guess. Mobipocket FAQ states that "The Mobipocket Reader reads only the standard DOC type of .pdb files" and mentions a name AportisDoc. I don't really know what it means...

It does seem a bit confusing... hopefully there will be more compatibility in the future. :o

tried mobipocket reader for 9210, it can open .prc files and .txt files... i'm not sure with other extensions though... is there microsoft reader for 9210?

Mobipocket Reader can read :
- eBooks/eNews/eDocs in Mobipocket format
- Palm Standard DOC files (not M$ DOC !) usually with PDB extension*
- native text and HTML documents.

* As you know, PDB is not a format, but just a container like ZIP to transfer files on the Palm.

No, it's the first choice, because they publish 1 file, it works on all devices.
Other eBook format do not have this option.

I highly recommend mobipocket reader. I use mobipocket for my PC and my phone. Its good to have the same application on your PC and phone. 8)
