A couple of hours ago i send some ascii sms to a friend a couple centimeters away from me and i got a bit pissed off cause i couldn't send them by infrared with my 9210 (although i got the option i get an error that the receiving device can't hadlle that kind of data and we tried on a 8310 and a 6510) and that got me wondering ,does anyone got any idea if that will be possible with the 3650 ?

You can send SMS via GPRS, and pay less than you do for reguler SMS message, at least with Israel's prices it pays.

You should be able to send SMS via infrared,well maybe not,if you oprator has been tampering with your device.
