I direly need a search/find feature in my e61. I know there's "Mobile Search" by SEPT, *BUT* I read in their page that in "s60 3rd edition" phones, it does not include search in the "notepad" application (" due to the new Symbian security limitations").
1. excuse my ignorance, is the E61 an "S60 3rd edition" series phone?
2. If so, is there any other application that searches the notepad?
Thanks,
Roy

No.
(that's if Mobile Search really doesn't do it).

Erm... I'm not completely sure but are you talking about searching for particular terms within a text file? If you want to search within a particular text file of any size, you can use the freeware text reader QReader. You can download it from here: http://www.qreader.com/QReader_S603rd.SIS

What I need is to search for a term accross all files, i.e. - search for "john" and get results for all contacts, calendar events and notes that have "john" in them.
