Ok how do I charge the phone through my pc using the usb cable? I have the 'allow usb charging' option in my phone enabled but nothing happens. Is there any other option on the phone or on the pc suite s/w to start the charge? Please help:con?

Just plug the phone to Your PC with the included USB cable and it starts to charge !

I found it didn't work straight away on either of the PC's I first used - you have to load all the software, plug the cable into the PC, and then the cable only becomes "live" for charging purposes when you've restarted the PC with the cable attached. Obvously you can plug or unplug the phone all you want, but if the cable isn't attached to the PC when it boots it won't carry any current for charging (although it can still be used for data transfer).

Make sure the USB port you are using is not the extended ones. Try the ports linked directly to the motherboard. And also, there are some issues if you are using Windows 2000. XP should be no problem.
