I only seem to be able to download new emails from gmail on the e61, yet I can get everything on my PC, anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

A recommendation for an alternate email client would be good solution, also.

Heres some more info on what happens.

I write an email to myself, tell my e61 to download all mail and it gets just that email. Fine. I can then download that email from gmail with my PC (using thunderbird). Perfect.

I write another email to myself, I download first with my PC, then I attempt to download with my e61 and it says theres no emails. Not fine.

In thunderbird, I have set it to leave emails on the server. In gmail web interface, its also still there and I have it set to keep emails.

By E61 software work... But now is possible to use Mobile Gmail, see here: http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29549&highlight= for instance... Is a Java application, andcan be installed on E61.

No good...

I want something that I can use offline. Although gmail mobile app pre-fetches, it complains once the network is gone and I cant log in once I exit then open again.

I also got an issue with the Gmail account
I entered all the settings in to the E61, sent a mail, I want to check for new mails on my E61 but nothing happens... It keeps on "Connecting to mailbox 'Gmail' "

Do you maybe now what can be the problem
Can you perhaps give me your settings you fill in on the E61 so I can compare
