Hello all and hope you had a good Christmas!

This is my first post on this site and I would be very grateful for any advice regarding the 5500 which I got for Xmas.

The problems I am currently having are:

1 Trying to work out how to turn off the speech when someone calls me.

2 How to set the alarm for all of the week instead of having to do it everyday.

I have read through these threads re. the 5500 and some of my other questions have been answered. Its a great phone but its proving to be a little beyond my ken so far!

1. Err...... never seen this. You mean it tries to speak the contact's name?
2. Set up alarms in Calendar for each weekday, and have each entry repeating weekly.

Regarding my two questions,

1 Anytime someone rang my phone, my ringtone would play as expected but the name of the person would cut in, in the middle of the ringtone....but I've figured out how to turn that off, I went to profile then personalise and turned it off!

2 You have provided the answer for that!
