Jar files are Java applets - in theory many of these will work on your 6682, but note that Java takes up huge amounts of RAM and that your applets are probably not working because of lack of RAM. Try again with a freshly-restarted phone.

slitchfield 29-01-2007, 07:45 AM What about installing proper S60 apps, from SIS files? Do these work OK?

slitchfield 04-02-2007, 07:24 AM How exactly are you 'installing' these Java applets? Using PC Suite? Or by copying on the JAR file and then selecting this in a file manager?

slitchfield 13-02-2007, 10:11 AM They're probably not compatible then. Move on and find some proper S60 apps.
