Hi, I've just upgraded to the latest firmware on my phone 3.0649.0.0.1 (30-11-06) I was previously running the music edition (30-10-06) but then changed my code to vanilla so that I could get the latest firmware.

However, the new music player isn't included on the latest firmware update? I thought they had incorporated all the new improvements along with the stability increase of the last firmware update?

Or am I wrong?

Well, your wrong, the latest firmware is an upgrade of the original firmware (softwares) which does not include the music player or any stabilities from the music edition, HOWEVER you have to wait for a new firmware for the music edition, which so far is stable !

Actually, after poking around it *does* contain the new music player (or at least the back end of it with the library etc.) but just displays it in the old fashion. Overall, it seems more stable but it seems odd that they don't want to get all editions to the same level?

Because as we now have it, the music edition is slightly behind, but has a kick ass player. The vanilla edition has more bug fixes, but no music player :P
