does anyone know why some of my videos in gallery refuse to render higher resolution thumbnails ?

Most videos will show a low res thumbnail at first and after about a second re-render into a better quality image. However, some refuse to do this and i am left with just a low quality thumbnail that, sometimes, makes the video completely indistinguishable until i actually try to play it !!for what its worth these files also fail to render a thumbnail at all in gallery until they are the file you currently have selected. If you highlight another file they appear as just a little grey icon :con? any ideas why this happens ?

Or / and check the firmware inside, and put if is not yet, on last version.

by restart do you mean turn the phone off for a bit or actually reformat it (i assume i need to do the mem card as well if you mean format)? i have tried turning it off for a bit (several times) but not reformatting it. Dont really want to format if i can help it as the 2gb cards almost fill with pics, vids + programs and i think im finally just about getting my handset setup as the (near)perfect phone !
