I bought TomTom Navigator 6 together with the bluetooth GPS from TomTom and have been using it for a while now on my Nokia e61 (FW 3). I must say I am positively surprised, which is something that didn't happen often since I changed to Nokia from my Treo.
Everything has been working without any problems. Contrary to earlier reports, I did not have any issues with screen backlight turning on or not turning on when it is supposed to, screen backlight is highly customizable and now seems to work the way it should.
Also, contrary to my expectation, the application does not suffer from the "numerical shortcut bug" introduced with firmware 2 and still there in FW 3. I don't have to use the blue key to use the respective shortcut - Granted, this should be a given and not be some special feature, but alas, it isn't so on the e61 (browser etc.)
I can get to where I want to in the GUI fast, the overall usability is really very good, in contrast to most things Nokia on the e61.
The maps are accurate and the instructions have always been clear. E.g. re-routing also works without problems, no crash in about 6 trips, total time in use so far about 10 hours.
The only small minus I have found is that it sometimes takes a minute or two until the position is found after switching on the GPS (though this may well be the same or even worse with other products).
P.S.: No, I don't work for TomTom, nor do I have other relations to them. :)
