Hello,

I have just received my new n73, love it. However i have only had it a few hours and am already finding it very irritating that on the mainscreen underneath the horizontal menu it has a bar (thats always there covering my wallpaper) telling me if i have any "to do`s" today in my calendar and listing what they are ! Depending on what i have to do that day in my calendar i can find myself with a whole screen full of "to do`s. And this is the main screen all over my wallpaper.

I am sure there is a way to remove it but as yet cannot find how that is.

Any help in freeing up my main screen appreciated. I just want my menu and wallpaper and clock thats all.

cheers

n73

Tis ok i have sorted it.

Turn Active Standby off.

Menu-Settings-Phone-Standby mode-Off

This is for anyone who wants to -

remove he clutter on their desktop, main screen.

remove "No more entries today", "No cal entries today" etc.

I personally want my main screen clear of clutter. If i want my icons ill use my menus and hot keys.

hiya all, I was just wondering.

I personally love the actice standby application, however i never use the calender on the phone so at the bottom of the apps it always displays 'No cal. entries for today'
I am a real muppet when it codes and configs, however is it at all possiable to enter the phones config and change the code, so calender function of active standby is disabled or removed????

love to hear what people think of it.
