It works 100%. lordsaad 10-05-2007, 02:46 PM hi guys , i downloaded the sis software MSDIRVEE..but ! i cannot lunch it even after install ! can anyone help me ? show me how or give an Url to download a better version of MSDRIVEE... ratza 11-05-2007, 07:38 AM How to get you messages copied on MMC (from phone memory): 1. Install MsvDriveE, run it and reboot. 2. Go to C:\System\Mail and copy the whole dir to E drive, but not in SYSTEM! Make another dir. 3. Uninstall MsvDriveE and delete the file msgs.ini from C:\System\Data. Watch out what you are deleting. Reboot again. 4. Go to the dir where you copied the C:\System\Mail first time. Copy the dir and put it on E:\System\Mail. When prompted for overwrite choose "Yes". 5. Install again MsvDriveE and run it. Reboot for the last time, and VOILA! All your messages are on the E drive. :icon4: NOTE: Nothing will be visible when running the MsvDriveE, only some screen variations. lordsaad 11-05-2007, 10:49 AM hey Rrratza !! i really apreciate ur help...u even dsay the 3230 is one of the worst s60  .....and u dont hestitate to us help ! so Big thx to u bro':) . ratza 11-05-2007, 11:08 AM Just because I hate it, it doesn't mean I can't help on the same problems I've had with it. erv2 23-05-2007, 12:02 PM hi, does it work the same when i want to transfer the SMSes from Sony Ericsson P910i to my Nokia N95? thanks. ratza 24-05-2007, 07:35 AM hi, does it work the same when i want to transfer the SMSes from Sony Ericsson P910i to my Nokia N95? thanks. No, it doesn't. The operating systems are different, although are both based on Symbian. I don't think you can transfer them, but if you want to keep them, try to find an utility which converts them to a txt file for example. There was an freeware for S60 v2 for this, but I'm not sure if it's someting similar available for UIQ. Never had to deal with UIQ, so I don't know any software to suggest. |
