Hi there,

I have seen whilst browsing that some Nokias seem to have a WLAN scanner on the active standby screen. I was just wondering if this was available for the E61?

I've had a search about and found one for the N80 with some suggestions that it may work on the E61 but I cant seem to get it to work. It says it is installed, but I cant find any reference to it in the menus :(

I'm quite sure there is a thread, relatively recent (month, maybe 2) where we discussed this and I am 85% sure that the E61 won't use it, at least not on the standby screen.

I am quite certain about this, even though i dont remember the thread because:

1) I DO remember it being discussed, and
2) I DON'T have it on my E61.

Try again with the search on the forums, but I think you'll be out of luck.
