Yup, you have to have E90 available in your region then you can ask someone to take a look at the region codes. Getting wrong code, you can flash wrong variant.

I bought a E90 for a chinese colleague of mine and mandarin would be quite nice addition...

Anyway not considering the phone UI/language, does anyone know whether there are language packs for the S60 browser so that at least you can see/read mandarin in webpages?

These porduct codes are for people wishing to alter the firmware, example you go to Uk and buy e90 and you want to change language to chinese E90 firmware, you would download a utility called NSS and change your product code from the code list for chinese then go to Nokia updater, this will ask you if you want to reinstall firmware, you say yes. When you have finished, your firmware will have changed to chinese, understand?

the sets from Singapore can display the internet pages in English, Trad and Simp Chinese.

I am looking for product code for E90 where both Cyrillic and West. European languages are supported. The official firmware for Russian product code contains only Russian, English and Ukrainian, and official German firmware (that I have) handles only German, English and Turk. If I change P/C for Russian, I cannot type any more such characters as Ö, Ä, Ü, ß that I use every day, and if I remain on German version, I cannot type any single Cyrillic character! :icon13:
I cannot believe Nokia made such a sh+t intentionally. Could anybody help me or at least explain what's going on? :o :con?

After some search on My-symbian E90 firmware thread, I got the following product codes:
Honk kong E90 code: 0544491
singapore version: 0544485
indonesian version: 0546002
All should have support for Chinese language (at least simplified, no idea yet whether they support traditional chinese e.g. for Taiwan).

If you know whether the keyboard mapping may change from Finnish version to one of the version above, thanks in advance for sharing the info.

I'll go looking for screenshot of HK/Singapore E90 keyboard, in the meantime.

I've just received my E90 from Hong Kong, and have tried to change firmware to Spanish one but, as I expected, the keyboard layout is different, so I have predictive writing in spanish, but make a mess of the rest.

Do anybody know if there is any version with the international keyboard that comes with spanish language?

If not, I'd stick with english (not that you are in a desperate need of predictive writing when having a complete keyboard at hand... :) )
